Links with the local community
Developing and Sustaining Partnerships in our Local Community
At Cara CSS, pupils and students will have many opportunities to link with the local community of Enfield in a variety of ways including:
- Walks around Enfield
- Developing shopping skills in the local shops
- Eating in local coffee shops, restaurants and hotels
- Visiting the local library
- Work Experience in shops, businesses and offices in the area
Each of the activities students engage in with the local community will be linked to the pupil/student Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Cara CSS also looks forward to working with the Enfield Autism Friendly Town Initiative whose main objective is working towards Enfield becoming an accessible, accepting and inclusive community.
